The third Women in Carwash™ conference was to be held in-person in sunny Fort Lauderdale, FL January 18-20. Change of plans. Instead, the conference was held virtually from every climate across the continent. The organizers made a few changes to the starting times to accommodate attendees from as far away as Alaska, California, Florida, and Newfoundland. Everyone could sign on to all aspects of the conference without having to get up too early or stay up too late.
All registrants received a welcome box in advance that included a Women in Carwash t-shirt, a brushed-silver stemless wine cup, and a mousepad. Many wore their t-shirt and drank a toast with their wineglass during the virtual cocktail reception.
Paul Krismer delivered the keynote address titled, “The Serious Business of Positive Emotions.” Other presentations included Damage Claims, Leaders as Role Models, Digital Marketing, and Applying a Data Lens to Your Operations.
The fourth Women in Carwash conference will be held virtually June 21-23. For more information and to register, please visit www.womenincarwash.com, e-mail email@example.com, or call Brenda at 204-489-4215.
