Belmont Car Wash & Detailing, one of the community’s longest running family-owned businesses, recently sent a major donation to the One Fund Boston, an organization that helps those most affected by the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings.
The wash held a weeklong fundraiser, running from Marathon-Monday, April 21, through Friday, April 25th, during which portions from each wash and detail service were collected for the fund. The Belmont team was able to raise a total of $509 for the fund.
“We are delighted to be able to participate in raising funds for the organization,” said Belmont general manager Adam Tocci. “It is fantastic to see the Boston community come together for this mission and we are happy to do our part in contributing.”
