Over the past few months, VERC Enterprises, a car wash, convenience store, and Mobil/Gulf gasoline operator with locations throughout Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire, has presented $500 grants to various schools in the communities where it operates.

The grants were made possible through the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program. Funded by the ExxonMobil Corporation and Global Partners LP, the program is designed to provide local retailers an opportunity to invest in the future of their communities through educational grants to neighborhood schools.

Recent grants were made to: Fiske Elementary School in Lexington, Trinity Catholic Academy in Brockton with two checks for $500, Florence Sawyer School in Bolton, Henry C. Sanborn Elementary School in Andover, and The Gifford School in Weston.
