Turtle Wax® Pro and the Transchem Group, who in 2013 secured the exclusive rights to manufacture and distribute Turtle Wax Pro car wash chemicals, have announced the appointment of four new team members.
Ryan Carroll joins Transchem Group head office as vice president of sales and marketing. Carroll brings 15 years of sales and management experience from a wide variety of industries, including food and beverage, property development, and electrical manufacturing. His most recent positions include director of sales at Glen Dimplex Americas and national sales manager at Phillips Lighting Canada.
Bill Carbonel has been appointed director of sales for Transchem Group US. Carbonel has more than 24 years of car wash industry experience. He comes to Transchem from Blendco Systems, where his last position was national tunnel sales manager. Prior to that, Carbonel spent 19 years as the owner and operator of several California car washes and lube centers. He has also served as the president of the Western Carwash Association and is currently the vice chairman of the Western Car Wash Political Action Committee.
Van Uselton joins Transchem Group US as the national service manager. In that capacity, he will focus on chemical installations, conduct and evaluate field tests, and support the sales team with new business development opportunities. Uselton has 26 years of car wash industry experience. He previously was regional sales manager of Stinger Chemicals. Uselton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Tennessee Tech University.
Matt Bristow joins Transchem Group US as the regional sales manager for the northwestern and central regions. He brings 10 years of automotive detailing experience and four years of car wash chemical and equipment sales experience to this position. He comes to Transchem from Protect-It Inc., a California-based vehicle detailing and car wash supply distributor.
Transchem Group is a family-owned-and-operated car wash chemical and equipment manufacturing company servicing global markets with 40 years of industry experience. Headquartered in Ontario, Canada, the company recently completed a 60,000 square foot expansion, adding offices, warehouse space, a testing facility, and a training center to support its growing customer base.
