On Friday, May 1 through Sunday May 3, customers washing their vehicles at one of Sudsy’s Car Wash’s three middle Tennessee locations in Columbia, Murfreesboro, and Spring Hill will benefit COVID-19 heroes and the hungry in the community.
For every individual car wash purchased, Sudsy’s Car Wash will donate $5 to one of three local charities feeding and supporting the hungry and hurting during the pandemic. The three charities are: The Family Center in Columbia (www.familycenter.org), The Well in Spring Hill (www.springhillwell.org), and Greenhouse Ministries in Murfreesboro (www.greenhousemin.org).
In addition to the charity donation, Sudsy’s will also donate a free $20 car wash to a front-line healthcare worker in the community for every car washed May 1-3.
“We’ve seen such selfless courage from our healthcare workers going into harm’s way to keep us all healthy and safe, and at the same time, we see so many without jobs and missing basic essentials like food on the table,” said Troy VanLiere, Sudsy’s Car Wash owner. “We hope our neighbors will come out and help make a big difference for our communities.”
Sudsy’s hopes to raise over $20,000 total for the three organizations and give away over $90,000 of free car washes. The free healthcare worker car wash vouchers will be distributed to area hospitals and medical centers the week following the promotion.
Sudsy’s has implemented strong safety measures under both the CDC and State of Tennessee guidelines to protect both their team and their guests from the spread of the Coronavirus. Guests may wash their vehicle without ever getting out of the safety of their car and every other one of the free-vacuum slots is closed off to maintain social distancing and keep both employees and guests safe.
