On behalf of the Spring Hill community, Sudsy’s Car Wash presented a check to the Spring Hill Police and Fire departments on August 16 for $17,000. The funds were raised during Sudsy’s two-day grand re-opening in Spring Hill, TN on August 3 and 4. Chief Don Brite and Chief Terry Hood of Spring Hill Police and Fire thanked everyone at Sudsy’s Car Wash for dedicating their grand re-opening to police Sgt. Baker, his family, and his law enforcement family. Sgt. Daniel Baker was shot and killed in the line of duty on May 30th, 2018.
After a fire destroyed Sudsy’s on November 27, 2017, Sudsy’s owners decided to use the grand re-opening as an opportunity to honor and say, thank you to Spring Hill’s first responders. One hundred percent of all purchased washes during the two-day event were donated to the two departments.
