On Saturday, May 4, 2013, the Southeast Christian Church (SECC) Missions Team was able to raise $1,840 at their car wash fundraiser held at Kwik Car Wash in Parker, CO. In addition to earning 50 percent of Kwik Car Wash’s wash sales for the duration of the fundraiser, volunteers were able to raise additional funds by vacuuming and towel drying vehicles and hosting a bake sale on site.
Kwik Car Wash frequently hosts charity car washes for local nonprofit organizations. Other events scheduled for this summer include Friends First, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Project Healing Waters, Safe Harbor Lab Rescue, the Rotary Club of Parker, and Youth and Pet Survivors (YAPS).
