Jackson Vahaly, publisher/owner of AutoCareForum.com, has announced the re-launch of Self Serve Carwash News (SSCWN), the popular tabloid newspaper for the self-serve car wash market that ceased publication in 2011. SSCWN will remain a quarterly and begin publication January 2014.
After a two-year maternity hiatus from the industry, Kate Carr, former editor-in-chief of Professional Carwashing & Detailing, will join SSCWN as editor.
Vahaly said subscriptions for the publication are being sold now and its staff will attend and display at regional trade shows to meet with readers beginning this month. In addition to these plans, Vahaly said Jarret Jakubowski, former publisher and editor, will have a contribution in the debut issue.
