The Southeastern Car Wash Association’s presentation, the American Car Wash Expo 2019, takes place at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. The event runs from Monday, August 19 through Wednesday, August 21.

Attendees can get acquainted on Sunday, August 18 — one day before the start of the show — during a golf outing at the Myrtlewood Golf Club. The official program commences on Monday at 1:00 p.m. with educational sessions. Two additional presentations are on the agenda: 1.) “Cyber Security” by John Stengel, a consultant with more than 20 years of experience in the field and author of the book, Security Pyramid. He launched JSCM Group in 2000, a cyber-security firm focused on network-security testing, training, and management. 2.) “Kiss Your Customer” by Andy Masters, an international speaker and award-winning author of five books including Kiss Your Customer — 77 Reasons Why Sales & Service Are Just Like Dating & Relationships. His latest book is Things LEADERS say: A Daily Guide to Help Every Leader Empower & Inspire.
On Tuesday, August 20, Steve Gilliland will exhort attendees to “Enjoy the Ride.” Gilliland is a member of the Speaker Hall of Fame and can be heard daily on Sirius XM Radio’s Laugh USA and Blue Collar Radio. He shows audiences how to open doors to success in their careers, their relationships, and their lives. He is the author of four books and holds an MBA from Globe University, Minnisota
The last day of the show features Dr. Paul Schempp, a research professor, speaker, and consultant who will share his insights on “Recognizing and Developing Leadership.” Often called the ”coaches’ coach,” Schempp is a consultant to coaches in the NBA, Olympics, and the PGA on player development and mental training. He is the author of six books including 5 Steps to Expert: How to Go From Business Novice to Elite Performer. This presentation is followed by a virtual car wash tour.
