ScrubaDub Auto Wash Centers, founded in 1966, has been recognized as the 2017 Massachusetts Family Business of the Year winner in the large firms category at the 11th annual awards program. Three generations of the Paisner family accepted the award.

"ScrubaDub and the Paisner family are honored to receive this award and we’re grateful for the growth we’ve experienced since my grandfather, Marshall Paisner, built the first ScrubaDub in Watertown, MA over 50 years ago,” said Mathew Paisner, the company’s director of business development.

ScrubaDub is a third generation family business with 18 properties across New England. It employs over 200 associates and is on track to wash over 2 million cars this year. “The Paisner family is grateful to be recognized for our business growth and giving back to the communities where we do business," Paisner added.

The Northeastern University Center for Family Business created the Massachusetts Family Business of the Year Awards to honor family businesses across the state. For the last 11 years, recipients of the awards have been selected by a panel of independent judges based on the following criteria: business success, positive business and family linkages, multi-generational family involvement, contributions to the community and industry, and innovative business practices or strategies.
