Rich’s Car Wash, the Alabama-based car wash chain, is developing its 12th facility located in Daphne, AL, scheduled to open in early 2017. The wash will include a 150’ conveyorized wash tunnel, over 30 free vacuum bays, and a separate 75’ polishing tunnel featuring the Perfect Polish system.

Perfect Polish is a 3-minute express wax applied by hand and buffed to perfection in the polishing tunnel employing groundbreaking technology, which was developed in conjunction with Sonny’s Enterprises. The new location will also be environmentally friendly, with energy-efficient lighting and control systems, as well as a water conservation and recycling system.

In 1976, Tim and Rayford Richardson opened the first Rich’s location in Saraland, AL. Since then, the locally owned and operated business has grown to be the largest car wash operator on the Gulf Coast with locations spanning four states. Experiencing an accelerated growth pattern near the end of its 40th year, Rich’s is planning to open at least three additional locations across the Southeast in 2017. For more information, go to
