Auto Laundry News fans will likely notice a big change this month. After decades of the same basic magazine design, we have modernized our look.

The team has been working diligently on redesigning our print magazine and website for several months: debating logo choices, updating fonts, changing color schemes, and making numerous little decisions leading to the final product currently in your hands. And I speak for the whole ALN team when I say we are very happy and proud of the final result.

“The redesign makes Auto Laundry News feel new again,” says publisher Joanne Gambert. “We want our readers to feel inspired when they flip through the magazine, have a sense of the car wash community, and learn something each time they open the latest issue. 

“The new look is a great way to engage our readers. Creating a fresh product presentation gives a new reason to be excited about the magazine and reinforces our commitment to our readers and advertisers alike.”

As many print magazines go the way of the dodo, Auto Laundry News  remains committed to our thriving print product, which has been a mainstay of the car care industry since 1953. But as we all know, many people prefer to get their news digitally, and we have had a well-read website for years, but that, too, has received a facelift.

Check out to see our new website design and experience its new features. One of the website’s most exciting additions is the page-by-page digital issues. The entire print magazine is now available in an e-book style experience, allowing readers who prefer a traditional print magazine approach to view the entire magazine digitally from cover to cover. While the magazine and website’s look and feel have been modernized, our content commitment remains the same. We are dedicated to covering the car care industry from top to bottom, focusing on operations, personnel, equipment, marketing, and everything in between.

But we can’t do it without you — our faithful readers — out there in the car wash trenches day after day. We need your expertise, insight, and feedback to continue to provide the insider knowledge which has been the backbone of this publication for more than 70 years.
