PDQ Manufacturing Inc. has announced that former PDQ president Michael Savignac has been named vice president and general manager for the OPW Electronic Systems business unit. In his new expanded role, Savignac will provide leadership and overall management of OPW’s Electronic Systems business unit, which comprises PDQ Manufacturing and OPW Fuel Management Systems. He will be based at the OPW facility in Hodgkins, IL, and will report to OPW President David Crouse.

Savignac served as executive vice president and later president at PDQ from 2002 to 2014. Most recently, Savignac served as president for Florida-based Datamax-O’Neil where he led the business in developing and providing thermal printing solutions to a global marketplace. Prior to joining PDQ, Savignac held senior executive roles in sales, manufacturing, and marketing in several divisions of Illinois Tool Works.

Savignac holds an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee.
