Meineke Car Care Center franchisees show their support for the nation’s veterans and active-duty service members by offering them free oil change service on Veterans Day. This year, with growing franchisee participation, Meineke provided 3,271 free oil changes for veterans and service men and women.
Dave Repass, the owner of Meineke Car Care Center in Lewes, DE, for the sixth year hosted a big Veterans Day celebration for the Lewes community. He and his team performed 262 free oil changes. They celebrated with food donated by several local companies, festivities, and tethered Meineke hot air balloon rides. Repass also partnered with the Office of Veterans Affairs to provide free flu shots to all veterans, along with their free oil change.
