On Saturday, August 26, Doherty High School Theatre — Thespian Troupe #2242 — raised $1,611 at their car wash fundraiser hosted by Wild Blue Car Wash’s Powers Blvd. location in Colorado Springs, CO.
The wash donated 50 percent of the wash sales during the fundraiser to the group, while theatre members and volunteers sold baked goods, vacuumed, and dried cars for additional tips. The money raised will help with their production costs.
