Flagstop Car Wash has reported that it provided over 1,000 free washes to service-personnel customers this past Veteran’s Day, November 11. The car wash company has participated in the Grace for Vets event since its inception.
Three years ago Flagstop partnered with the local Disabled American Veterans organization to encourage donations to the non-profit organization by not only providing free washes to active and retired military personnel, but also to any customer who contributes a donation of any given amount. Bob Schrum, president of Flagstop, reports that with the help of the DAV volunteers and the Flagstop team approximately $2,000 a year has been raised for the DAV with this year yielding a total of $2,500.
