The International Carwash Association has announced that Lex, Ren?, and the late Ton Peters, owners of ANAC Carwash, will be inducted into the Car Wash Hall of Fame during Car Wash Show Europe™ 2017 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

ANAC recently celebrated its 75th year in business, having been founded in 1940 as a seed and flour trading concern. Today, ANAC Groep consists of 13 car washes in Belgium and the Netherlands, three gas stations, a self-storage business, and an indoor kart track, managed by a staff of more than 200 employees.

The Peters brothers are second-generation owners, and the generation that has made car washing the key focus of the organization. Building from what was an ancillary service at one gas station in 1965, the Peters actively sought out the best ideas from American and European car wash operators, and today manage some of the most innovative car wash locations in the world. Of particular note is ANAC’s focus on the customer experience, embodied in the design of their stores and the training of their employees.

Today, the third generation of the Peters family is working in ANAC Groep, ensuring that the legacy and focus on innovation will survive well into the future. ANAC has been a leader in the Dutch car wash community and a long-time member of BOVAG, the Dutch car wash association. The company has also been involved in supporting its community through philanthropic initiatives such as supporting Ronald McDonald House.

The presentation of the Car Wash Hall of Fame will be made on Monday, September 25 during a special evening reception at the RAI Exhibition Centre, location of Car Wash Show Europe 2017.
