St. Louis, MO-based D&S Car Wash Equipment Co. has hired Mike Cherry as business development manager. He will be responsible for building market share for D&S by locating and developing new car wash equipment business and working with existing customers to expand their businesses. Prior to joining D&S, Cherry was employed by Nuform Building Technologies. He has broad-based knowledge of car wash building and construction management and provides professional experience in management, manufacturing, and technology.

In a separate statement, the company announced that it had appointed Mark Cutright as graphic designer. Cutright will be using his talents to aid the marketing department by designing custom graphics for D&S customers’ signs, decals, and car wash promotional materials. In addition to design work, he will also be maintaining the production of graphics that are produced by the D&S in-house graphics department. Cutright has nearly a decade of experience as a print tech and production artist and holds a B.A. degree in both graphic design and studio art from Maryville University.
