Seattle-based Brown Bear Car Wash has donated $10,581 to support the Fred Hutch Climb to Fight Cancer — the result of a one-day fundraising effort. The family-owned company is donating $1 for every car washed at its 22 tunnel locations on Thursday, June 30.

“Brown Bear Car Wash is proud to support the Fred Hutch Climb to Fight Cancer, and we appreciate the support of our customers,” said Victor Odermat, Brown Bear’s founder and CEO. “Private support remains vital for scientists at Fred Hutch as they continue pioneering life-saving research.”
