Opening day at the North American International Auto Show, held in January at the Cobo Center in Detroit, MI, was the strongest in six years with 110,509 enthusiasts visiting, an increase of 3,949 guests over the 2014 opener. NAIAS reports that in all, opening weekend drew a total of 215,836 car lovers, compared with 208,675 attendees for opening weekend in 2014. More than 750 new cars and trucks were on display including 55 product premieres.
