The International Carwash Association has announced that, beginning next year in Nashville, it will be co-locating its The Car Wash Show with the Automotive Oil Change Association’s annual convention and tradeshow. AOCA is the non-profit trade organization representing the fast lube and convenient automotive service industry, with more than 900 members throughout North America.

Approximately 20 percent of the ICA show attendees are already involved or interested in the fast lube industry, said Eric Wulf, ICA CEO. “Likewise,” he added, “nearly 35 percent of our exhibitors rate the fast lube audience as important, second only to our core car wash attendee.”

The ICA expects the AOCA to bring up to 800 new attendees and 80 new exhibitors to The Car Wash Show, without any increase in exhibition prices.

The AOCA will remain an independent association, and will continue to deliver training seminars, technical information, and advocacy work.

The Car Wash Show 2016, presented in partnership with the Western Carwash Association — and now also featuring the AOCA convention and tradeshow — takes place May 9-11 at Music City Center in Nashville, TN. For additional information, visit www.thecarwashshow.com.

In an unrelated statement, the AOCA has announced the appointment of Bryan White as its executive director effective August 1. He will report to the AOCA board of directors and manage all business operations, finances, and strategy for AOCA.
