Vallejo, CA-based 7 Flags Car Wash and the Susan G. Komen foundation teamed up again for the month of October to help raise awareness about checking for breast cancer as well as to raise money to find a cure. The foundation donated pink neck gaiters, and literature about how to prevent breast cancer. The 7 Flags team promoted awareness by having all staff wear pink shirts, bracelets, and breast cancer buttons.

7 Flags Car Wash donated $1 for every full-service car wash and $1 for every Fast Pass sold for the month of October and also accepted donations from their loyal customers. 7 Flags Car Wash was able to raise $6,247 to donate to the Susan G. Komen foundation to help find a cure.

Over the past seven years, 7 Flags has raised $51,849 and looks forward to continuing its partnership with the Susan G. Komen foundation. “This is a special event for the 7 Flags family,” said 7 flags president Jason Anthony. “It is amazing to see the employees get behind such an incredible cause. We hope this partnership can continue for the foreseeable future.”

In a separate statement, 7 Flags Car Wash reported its partnership with Grace for Vets to thank all that have served our country. On Veterans Day, November 11, 7 Flags Car Wash thanked active-duty military and veterans by offering a free $8 express exterior car wash or an $8 credit for any upgrade at their Vallejo, Fairfield, Vacaville, and Citrus Heights conveyor locations. A total of 391 cars were washed for free.
