Automechanika 2018 took place September 11-15 in Frankfurt, Germany. The event drew 136,000 trade visitors, a record number, from 181 countries — another record. Approximately 10,000 attendees were at the event for the first time. The megatrends at the fair were digitization, clean vehicles, and classic cars.
The 25th Automechanika Frankfurt was the biggest and most international event in its history. More than 5,000 companies (4,843 during the previous show in 2016) presented their new products and solutions in an area of approximately 315,000 square meters (roughly 2.5 million square feet).
