2017 Northeast Regional Carwash Convention

The Northeast Regional Carwash Convention (NRCC) returns to the Atlantic City Convention Center for its 2017 event, and The Borgata is again the designated headquarter hotel. The Connecticut Carwash Association is the host this year; the other participating associations are the Mid-Atlantic Carwash Association, the New York State Car Wash Association, Car Wash Operators of New Jersey, and the New England Carwash Association. The event runs from Monday, October 2 through Wednesday, October 4.
An entirely new feature kicks off the educational program on Monday afternoon: a virtual tour of some of the Northeast’s most innovative and forward-thinking locations. Attendees will be able to ask questions about each process and application and also hear first-hand from each wash’s owner about the “why’s” behind their innovations.
The Early Bird Panel Discussion remains a show favorite and is the first item on the schedule for Tuesday — an early start to a morning filled with further educational opportunities.
The Awards Luncheon on Tuesday is preceded by the keynote address. The speaker is Denise Ryan, a magna cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina with a master’s degree in business and a certified speaking professional. Her presentation, titled “Millennials — Can’t Live with ‘Em, Can’t Succeed without ‘Em,” addresses issues such as how to reward them in a way that works but allows the rest of us to get our own jobs done and how to give work meaning in a way that inspires and doesn’t seem fake. The session is designed to help leaders manage a workforce with vastly different needs and expectations.
The welcome reception on Tuesday evening takes place at The Water Club.
Also new at this year’s show are “Inside Looks” presentations on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. These 30-minute seminars will take place on the show floor and will showcase particular vendors’ operations and/or products.
